A Slow & Gentle Start to 2026
I’m home in San Francisco, taking it slow as we begin another ride around the sun. In March I’ll be heading to Paris, London in April/May, Paris again in June, Paris & London in the Fall & Hawaii in November then home for the holidays with my family and especially my three beautiful granddaughters. I also hope to make it back to my beloved hometown of Detroit as well sometime during the summer. I intend to spend this year focused on writing, composing new music, sharing old influences, observing the world around me with a lot of curiosity. And most importantly, putting the effort into living with gratitude for this amazing life that I’ve been given.
I’m excited to play, listen, collaborate, and let these cities shape what comes next. I have a guitar that travels with me, also one that lives in Paris and another in London, so I’m looking forward to seeing what comes as I spend time in these cities of my heart. Travel has a way of sharpening my ear — new rooms, new people, new silences. I’m excited to let these places leave their mark on the music & writing, and to share what emerges along the way.
Thank you to everyone who’s been following my work and also everyone who’s purchased my music these past 25 years. 100% of all proceeds of my music go to causes that I care about, causes that make the world a better place. It’s more important than ever to be present, to be kind and help those around you. I hope to see you somewhere along the way.
